Bone Builders
Meet at the Firehouse, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays, 7:45AM–9AM (9AM to 10 AM in the winter). Open to any man or woman over age 35; bring a towel and water, and wear something comfortable; a $5/month donation for the Fire Dept. is requested. A Monday/Wednesday class is in the works; more info is available from Denise Gibeault.
Newton Academy Restoration Cmtee
Meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month at varying locations. The Committee is charged with the restoration and maintenance of the old high school building, Newton Academy. Currently the building houses the Shorewell Clinic and the Pre-School; the Community Room is used for meetings. Historical Society
Meetings are held at 7PM at the old stone schoolhouse on 22A across from the telco, the first Wednesday of the month, March through December. All interested persons are welcome to attend. Contact Sue MacIntire for more info.
Book Discussion Group
Meets third Wednesday of every-other month (Jan/Mar/May/Jul/Sept/Nov) at 6PM; Platt Library. All are welcome; once we choose what to read and discuss, books are made available through the Library.
Parents/Friends/Teachers
Meets the first Tuesdays during the school year, at 6:00 PM, at the school. All

Tri-Town Water
(monthly, 3rd Thursday) held at the Tri-Town
office, 7PM, corner of Rte 22A and Middle Road in Bridport. If you
need to get hooked up, you need to go to a meeting.
Fire & First Response
Both groups meet twice a month at the firehouse for their monthly business
meetings and training meetings. For info on joining, contact Dick
Treadway about the First Response (-8361), and Jeff Treadway about the
Fire Department (-2107).
