2010 Shoreham Festival—September 4

Set to go! Lawn tractor pulls, lots of food, face-painting, cake eating contest, Selecboard Dinner, photography contest and Auction, cake decorating contest, classic cars, Bingo, the parade, and tons more. FIREWORKS at dusk, on the Green.

Town-Wide Yard Sales

From 8:009 AM to 2:00 PM—watch for participants' signs. Maps can be picked up early Saturday morning at the Church, the Firehouse, and the Platt Library.

Food Drive

All day—drop your canned food donations into any of the Food Drive containers around the Green. Food goes to the Middlebury food shelf. Show you care—show that "Shoreham Cares!"

Venues

Many events will be held at the Congregational church this year, including breakfast and the Selectboard Dinner. The Photo Contest entries will be available for viewing and bidding upstairs, and other events clustered nearby.

Facepainting is at the Library. The preschool will be selling snow cones and pop-corn at the Firehouse. Funds raiseed go to the two respective organizations for their programs.

Unless otherwise indicated, all money collected during the day at the various town events goes to pay for the fireworks. Double the bang for your buck!

Food, Food, FOOD!

The Congregational Church is the food site again this year, starting with breakfast at 8.

The Burger Buggy will be on duty serving great hamburgers, fries, hot dogs and Italian sausage during the day.

The Selectboard DINNER is at 5:00 PM at the Church. A traditional community pot-luck featuring slow-cooked beef and the contest cakes for dessert! Wach for menu details as we ge closer to the day. Take-away available. All proceeds go to the Fireworks Fund.
