following positions:

  • Platt Library assistants—ongoing
  • 5/6/10—Historical Society—Volunteer to inventory artifacts at the Shoreham Historical Society. Do you need volunteer credits for school or a scouting activity? Please contact Ginny Spadaccini ginny_spadaccini@yahoo.net or -5254.

Bone Builders
Meet at the Firehouse, Mondays, Wednesdays, 9AM to 10 AM; Tuesdays, Thursdays, 8AM to 9 AM. Open to any man or woman over age 35; bring a towel and water, and wear something comfortable; a $5/month donation for the Fire Dept. is requested. More info is available from Denise Gibeault.

Historical Society
Meetings are held at 7PM at the old stone schoolhouse on 22A across from the telco, the first Wednesday of the month, March through December. All interested persons are welcome to attend. Contact Sue MacIntire for more info.

Book Discussion Group
Meets third Wednesday each month, except December at 7PM; Platt Library. All are welcome; once we choose what to read and discuss, books are made available through the Library.

Parents/Friends/Teachers

Women's Fellowship
Monthly, Location varies; conatct Ginny VanHazinga [-5420] or Mary Jane James [-5108]

Tri-Town Water
(monthly, 3rd Thursday) held at the Tri-Town office, 7PM, corner of Rte 22A and Middle Road in Bridport. If you need to get hooked up, you need to go to a meeting.

Fire & First Response
The Fire Department meets twice a month at the Firehouse for their monthly business and training meetings; First Response meets monthly for Business and Trainiing. For info on joining, contact Dick Treadway about the First Response (-8361), and Jeff Treadway about the Fire Department (-2107).

Emergency Management Committee
