Emergency Preparedness
- The Addison County Emergency Planning Committee (ACEPC) meets the last Wednesday of each month (except August) at the State Police barracks in New Haven; all are welcome. Their website has numerous resources, downloads, and links to more preparedness info for families, First Responders, seniors, and those with special needs. Many items are available in Spanish as well as English. www.aclepc.org/
- Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)—A volunteer response group organized under the VEM to assist local fire/first responders in emergency situations.
