What the Restoration Committee does...
Members of the Newton Academy Restoration Committee are appointed by the Selectboard. The committee oversees the stabilization, maintenance, and restoration of the Newton Academy building, which currently houses the Shoreham Pre-School and the Shorewell Clinic. Through grants, fund-raising, and a tax-funded budget, the committee seeks to revitalize the building and is currently exploring various options for expanding its use.
